1. Lawful purpose. I confirm that every request I submit is for a lawful and legitimate purpose (for example due diligence, debt recovery, litigation support or verification of a person I have a genuine relationship with). I will not use the service to stalk, harass, threaten, blackmail or harm anyone.
2. Live location tracking. Location tracking may only be requested for a device I own, or where the device holder has given informed consent, or where I have another lawful basis. I understand tracking depends on the target phone being switched on and having network coverage.
3. Accuracy of information. I am responsible for the accuracy of the names, IC numbers, phone numbers, vehicle plates and other particulars I provide. Wrong particulars can lead to wrong or empty results, and fees are not refunded for that reason.
4. No guarantee of result. Ocean Private Investigation Service will use reasonable efforts, but records depend on third-party sources and cannot be guaranteed. Results are provided for my own use and are not legal advice.
5. Fees and refunds. Fees are payable before work starts. Once an investigation has started, fees are non-refundable, except where the company is unable to perform the service.
6. Personal data (PDPA). I consent to the collection and processing of the personal data I submit, and of the target's data, solely to perform this service and meet legal obligations. Reports are stored securely and are only visible to me, the assigned investigator and authorised staff.
7. Confidentiality. I will keep reports confidential and will not publish or share them except as permitted by law.
8. Right to refuse. The company may refuse, suspend or cancel any request, or close my account, where it suspects misuse or a breach of these terms.
